Getting to Guwahati
Wherever you’re coming from, fly into Guwahati (GAU).
If you’re flying in from outside India, you’ll have to connect through a larger Indian airport like Delhi (DEL), Mumbai (BOM), Kolkata (CCU), Bengaluru (BLR), or Chennai (MAA). Pick whichever route is the least hassle (considering layover times, fares, etc.).

Mayfair Spring Valley is in Sonapur, on the eastern side of the city, roughly 70-90 minutes from the airport by road depending on traffic. Guwahati traffic has opinions of its own, so do leave a little buffer.
