Getting around
Uber and Ola do operate in Guwahati and can usually bring you to Mayfair. The slightly trickier bit is getting a cab out of Mayfair and back into the city at short notice.
So if you’re planning to head into town for food, sightseeing (save that for non-wedding days pls), a haircut, emergency alterations or something, it’s best to arrange a car in advance. Either check with reception, or contact: __________

And one general rule for Guwahati: if Maps says 40 minutes, read that as >60.
